A few tidbits on my status

Mon Jul 13, 2009, 6:19 PM
Regarding my gallery: I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who said they love or laughed their asses off to my True Blood/Let's Make Fun of Twilight Fans pictures. I realize those are easily my most popular works here, but at the same time I'm adding to my portfolio and animating for my Demo Reel, and the sooner I can get a job, the sooner I can live in my own apartment in Chicago, and the sooner that happens, the more I will feel ultimately releived and happy to be close to young, active, anime-watching, or club-hopping people. So while I'll still make LMFOTF and True Blood Lite, there will also be more body/background sketches, water colors, and model sheets.
Regarding comments: If you're going to make comments about my artwork, please make sure they're about my artwork. Please no, "The book was better" or, "RPATTZ IS SOOOO HOT111" or, "I HATE THAT CHARACTER SO MUCH! HE IS SO STUPID!"
Regarding everything else: My mom still has cancer, but she's slowly recovering. She's the main reason why I still stay at home. I've recently been watching The Spectacular Spiderman on Disney XD. I was curious as to why the show was surprisingly well-written and animated, and then I found out Greg Weisman was a supervisor on the show, and was like, "Ooooh, so THAT'S it." Also, Electro is awesome. Especially when his voice goes into Alu Mode. alu-mode: short for Alucard mode, or when Crispin Freeman's voice goes up to 11 in a perfect storm of rage, energy, and ALL CAPS.

  • Mood: Relief
  • Listening to: Little Boots--Stuck on Repeat
  • Watching: The Spectacular Spiderman
  • Playing: Loco Roco

I couldn't help but totice on the picture you made "Nouveau Giselle", you said you made up the circle name by yourself, but I know better. You took the idea from a Sailor Moon picture, I've seen them before. You took it from one of them, and that is stealing some one elses' idea. Shame on you.

If Marina can fall in love with an old Ursid pirate.
if Ann Darrow can cry at the loss of a giant gorilla king.
and if Bell can find the man of her dreams in a beast
then there's nothing wrong with a woman falling in love with a handsome Goblin King.
Thanks for faving!
Thanks for the favourite on "Sing for the Phantom"!

Any great work of art ... revives and readapts time and space, and the measure of its success is the extent to which it makes you an inhabitant of that world—
